From being a division under the Industrial Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering (2007) to Faculty of Creative Industries / FIK UBAYA (2012), the Study Programme of Product Design University of Surabaya has continually delivered high quality Design Bachelor’s degree programs to its students. As the first Faculty of Creative Industries in Indonesia, FIK UBAYA acts not only as a pioneer but also as destination, place for creativity development and entrepreneurship for young generation. We currently have two area of specializations that allow the students to choose and study based on their desired specializations: Product Design Management and Fashion Design and Lifestyle Product.
In the near future, FIK Ubaya plans to extend its mission and vision by having an international certification of Asean University Network - Quality Assurance (AUN-QA), a brand-new area of specialization of digital virtual product design, and an implementation of Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) in 2021
E-Portfolios are way for our faculty and our students to showcase their work and accomplishments. Here, on our e-portfolio website, you will find variety of student digital portfolios that include thoughtful reflections and digital artefacts that showcase our students’ learning output to audiences outside our University. The portfolios show broad varieties of application and innovation in their area of specializations. It also portrays students’ learning experiences in our campus and how they reflect on their learning experiences.
